Spring 2003: Second baseman on Mt. Carmel freshman team 3rd place C.C.L. Won A.A.U. National 105 Championship. Won Illinois State Greco State Championship Fall 2003: Starter @ Receiver on Mt.Carmel sophomore team 2nd place (7&2) C.C.L. Winter 2004: Ranked #3 @ 112. Won C.C.L., Wisconsin Badger Tournament, IHSA Regional & Sectional Championships. Runner up in Ohio Midwest Classic. Advanced to the Illinois High School Association state quarterfinals. Spring 2004 3 &1 Record for Team Illinois at NWCA Duals @ 119 lb at Deleware State University. Placed 3rd and received All American honors(8th time) at AAU Scholastic Duals at Sheppard h.s., Placed 5th @ Northern Plains in Freestyle & Greco in Waterloo, Iowa, won championships Downers Grove Illinois and Lowell Indiana tournaments, named to 115 lb spot on USA wrestling National Greco Concord Cup tournament team for Memorial Day weekend in San Francisco. Won the Illinois Freestyle 119lb State Championship at Lincolnway East h.s.
Fall / Winter 2004 Captured Ohio Midwest Tournament Championship @ 119, Won Outstanding WrestlerAward and 119lb Championship @ Wisconsin Badger Tournament, Won third consecutive Chicago Catholic League Championship and Won third IHSA Regional Championship, runner up Sectional Championship and advanced to the state Quarterfinals for the third year in a row.
Spring / Summer 2005 Won Brute - Adidas National All American honors @ 125 lbs., won 3rd 119lb. Illinois Freestyle State Championship, captured 2nd Greco/Roman Championship @ 135, placed third @ 130 @ North Plains Regional Championships. Was selected as a member of Team Illinois for the Junior National Dual Team and Junior Freestyle Championship.
Winter 2005 Committed and signed to wrestle at The University of Nebraska - Omaha- D2 Three Peat National Champs, Won Ohio Midwest Classic @ 125, Won Dvorak Memorial Invitational @ 125, went 5 & 0 at Gateway Super Duals in St. Louis/Oakville, MO. Ranked #1 in Illinois, Ranked # 8 in US by W. I. N. Magazine, ranked #1 Illinois Best Weekly, ranked number 18 by Intermat Wresling, Won 4th Chicago Catholic League Championship, Placed 5th @ Illinois State Meet, Placed 3rd @ Senior Nationals in Pittsburgh making me a h.s. All American, Ranked 6th Amatuer Wrestling News |
